How do I list my address in my PA entity formation documents if I'm using a PA registered agent?

A common question that we get from new customers who signup with Clarion Service Company to be their Pennsylvania commercial registered office provider is “How do I list my address in formation paperwork if I’m using a registered agent?”

Usually this question comes up when they have signed up for PA registered agent services and are filling out their Articles of Incorporation or Certificate of Organization.

If you’ve hired Clarion Service Company as your PA registered agent, then here is how to fill out your paperwork to list us as your commercial registered office provider

Which Form?

The relevant form is either:

  • Articles of Incorporation (if you are forming a corporation or non-profit corporation);

  • Certificate of Organization (if you are forming an LLC); or

  • Certificate of Limited Partnership (if you are forming a Limited Partnership).

Each form has an Address section (usually Section 2.) In the address section , you are asked to complete either Part (a) or Part (b), but not both.

Complete Part (b) by:

  • listing the "Name of Commercial Registered Office Provider" as Clarion Service Company and

  • listing the "County" as Chester.

We’ve included some examples of how to fill out the Address section of the form below. Make sure that you have signed up with us as your PA registered agent before you fill out and submit the form.
